Recommended depth per area
The technique of application is subcutaneous infiltration and not intradermal infiltration (mesotherapy), with a 30 G or 30 1/2 G hypodermic needle 13 x 0.3 mm.
The injection should be performed with the needle perpendicular to the skin, at a depth of 12 or 13 mm, injecting 0.1 to 0.2 ml per point, at a distance of 2 to 3 cm between each point.
Special care should be taken not to surface the needle to a depth of less than 4 mm (intradermal application), as there is a risk of skin necrosis.
